The first thing you need to know about the Acura MDX, is that really hold their value in an otherwise tough market with a lot of competition from other manufacturers. Let’s look at a few numbers to give you an example of exactly what I am talking about. For the 2002 Acura MDX $35,000 to $40,000 is not unheard of, and I am speaking about a car whose 2007 Acura MDX is set to be within the $45,000 range. The 2003 Acura MDX up to the current 2006 Acura MDX have changed very little over the years, so no year is actually preferred over another at this point in time. So you can be comforted to know that your MDX is going to be a good value in the long run.

There are a handful of parts with the Acura MDX that you will want to keep your eye on, especially if dealing with a used model that may be losing its warranty soon. There are a number of 2002 Acura MDX airbag parts that I have seen customer review claim they have had to have replaced, as well as the necessity for a Acura MDX FM modulator in order to enjoy your music on long road trips.

One of its best features is the Acura MDX rear differential which is of the locking variety; which means that the rear differential Acura MDX will be great for ice, snow, and mud for up to 15 miles per hour. The Acura 3.2 TL, as Acura’s more luxury sedan actually has nothing on the MDX as far as comfort, road noise, and convenience; so don’t let the phrase SUV persuade you otherwise. The Acura MDX is every bit as much of a classy means of transportation to and from your job as it is a great means of transportation for every soccer mom in the world.

There are a host of available features for the Acura MDX, but I would like to take the time to recommend a few that seem to be rather popular with customer reviews. Acura MDX running boards are always a great look as well as convenience feature for most people, and should be on your want list for your MDX at the onset of its purchase. An Acura trailer hitch is something else you should seriously consider, as the Acura MDX is fully capable of hauling things, so do not be afraid to use it as it was meant to be used. There are also a few other Acura MDX accessories Like, such as bug guards and mud flaps, as they will protect your investment over long excursion across country.

If you are the owner of a used Acura MDX, such as a 2004 Acura MDX, the Acura MDX parts of your choice should be mainly interior, as this is the one weakness that the older MDX has to the 2006 model. The new MDX has the choice of chrome and ebony Zebra trim, which is super cool in this particulars author’s point of view. But thankfully for all of you used MDX owners out there, these also can be purchased separately through a number of aftermarket companies to make your older MDX just as cool as some of the new ones.

So whichever MDX you go with you can always be assured that you are super-cool; and that is something that is important to all of us with teenagers!

Today, the mention of the Acura NSX initiates a wealth of sweet from any tuners brow. But for many of us average Jane’s and Joe’s; settling for the less expensive used Acura Integra such as a 1988 Acura Integra, will just have to do. But did I actually say settle? Well, settle is probably not exactly the word of choice. Whether you decide on an older 1990 Acura Integra or a newer 1995 Acura Integra, you are going to be in store for a wealth of fun; especially with your first breath of the multitude of Acura Integra aftermarket parts!

Complete with a sporty exterior and lively interior the 1991 Acura Integra found balance between economy and performance, with a nice heaping scoop of reliability to top it all off. Climbing a few notches above the 91’, one can step into a 1992 Acura Integra, of which I am of course speaking of the infamous Acura GSR which spun the heads of the average Integra driver with its 30 more horses over its base model. Better yet, the 1993 Acura Integra would make a rather sizeable weapon of choice. The 93’ has some of the most available Acura Integra parts available than any of the other used generation Acura Integra’s.

Also of the used variety, but none-the-less not quite as low priced as the GSR is the 1998 Acura Integra Type R. These hand finished 1.8 liter engines still turn heads with their 190 horsepower in their raw form. Even today this engine is still considered a beautiful design. Comfort, convenience, and sportiness in a “fully loaded” reliable super car that even the average person can still step into for a moderate price; this beast needs to prove itself to nobody. Well, you may have to prove your Acura Integra 98 radio code at the dealer to continue to listen to those bas thumping tunes every time you replace the battery; but once out of every four years isn’t too bad.

The Acura Integra is especially popular with the tuner/performance enthusiast crowds in America. Building up a great tuner machine out of an Acura will be an easy feat, as well as satisfying when you find yourself capable of keeping up with the various sports vehicles of the newer variety currently on the roads today. The only thing that your older Acura Integra will be missing will be the newer body style that is popular among the performance car crowd. But worry not my friend, because an Acura Integra body kit can be on its way to rescue you within two to three weeks; just in time for that weekend cruise.

There are a few things that you will want to keep in mind while you are shopping for one of the higher quality of Acura Integra body kits. There are such a large number of manufacturers out there that some of them are going to fit better than other, and require less body work. In addition to the quality of fit there is a wide variety of thickness of material used in these kits. Generally speaking the higher the cost the thicker the material that was used, but it is always best to check out the consumer reports on any manufacturer before you buy. The older Acura’s can be a beautiful, fun car even for today’s standards, and this author highly recommends them to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, practical, street performance vehicle that will be almost as much fun to drive as stare at in your driveway!

The history of the Acura Legend is a rather beautiful one, and encompasses that of many accomplishments as well as a few defeats. The 1988 Acura Legend was actually in the forefront with its first model which was quickly copied by a number of other savvy manufacturers. The 1989 Acura Legend and the 1990 Acura Legend was forgotten slightly behind the limelight of the Acura NSX when it debuted and had reclaim its view in the public with increased horsepower and style that made it once again a unique car within its class.

Unfortunately the 1992 Acura Legend, 1993 Acura Legend, and the 1994 Acura Legend never regained its popularity with its set customer base, and sales suffered. If it wasn’t for the 1991 Acura Legend Coupe which became popular with the younger tuner crown, the Acura Legend may have not become quite the legend that it is known for today. And the Acura Legend has truly become a legend to both the young and old, as it has proven itself to be of both class and performance which is what most car manufacturers strive to accomplish today in light of such legendary performance.

There are a small number of weaknesses that the Acura Legend exemplifies over its years of existence, and first is the unimaginative Acura Legend wheels that should have been designed better from the very first model. They just have never had the same edge that the body style has and subsequently end up dragging the overall look of the vehicle down which is but a true shame. The next weakness the legend is know for is the Acura air conditioning compressor 1990 Legend design which was an inferior production model that did not perform well under most warm climate conditions. There was never a recall on this to my knowledge, but with the proper Acura Legend parts this weakness can be easily overcome.

If modification and self maintenance is your goal, then the Acura Legend is a rather friendly vehicle to work on. The manual for 1996 Acura Legend actual goes a long way as not a whole bunch changed among the line-up in the grand scheme of things. And if Acura Legend performance parts are your desire for becoming your own mechanic, then you will definitely not be disappointed with the options your Legend are going to have for you. The Acura Legend is extremely popular with the tuner crowd, and therefore has a large variety of parts available to you. You will never be bored when working on your Legend, as there will always be a project just waiting to be taken on.

The overall looks of the older Acura Legends definitely could use a bit of sprucing up. But that is what one of the fine Acura Legend body kits are for. To put back that pizzazz that has been lost over the years as cooler and cooler Acura cars are introduced. Speaking of cool Acura cars; the Acura 3.2 TL is a definite upgrade from any Legend that you will find throughout its entire history. But its price tag reminds you of that, so if you are looking for cheaper transportation, you would be best to stick with the Legend, at least for the next couple of years!

Are you out on the lookout for some 1999 Acura TL parts, or maybe some for the current 2006 Acura TL model? If you are, then you are in luck as you have quite a large number of parts and manufacturers to choose from. Acura TL parts are actually easiest to come by on the Internet, but if you are the type who is looking for factory replacement only, then the dealership would probably be your best bet. Generally however, for the best Acura TL parts prices, it pays to do your shopping in more than one place.

Looking over the current Acura TL review; there really is not one part that is necessary to purchase as a replacement for any inferior components that were installed at the factory. So, chances are unless you have a 2003 Acura TL or 2004 Acura TL your needs for factory replacement parts will be rather unnecessary for the next couple of years. So it is safe to assume that the general person shopping for the Acura TL is doing so for fun and to upgrade and personalize.

Stepping up to the 2007 Acura TL and the concept 2008 Acura TL we see the promise of some super cool Acura TL accessories to be among the line-up of performance upgrades. The Acura TL turbo kits will of course be at the top of many enthusiasts’ wish lists, with the promise of some hefty extra ponies (horsepower) to be within a simple toes reach. The best part about the turbo kits that I have seen thus far is that they offer a nominal boost that ensures continued reliability for the life of the vehicle.

There are many Acura TL parts of the performance variety that can unfortunately diminish some of the engines reliability, but rest assured that a turbo is built to partner with the exhaust and produce an extra horsepower that is not damaging or forceful to the other engine components. But you will have to keep the boost levels to sane levels in order for that statement to hold true, and I am talking to probably as much as 15 pounds pressure max. With the Acura 3.2 TL there really is no limit to its performance possibilities. It is a rather beautifully designed engine as well as is comprised of a rather large number of liters for its class.

Changing the subject to body styling parts for Acura TL, we can set our sights on any of the Acura TL body kits that are currently on the market. I however recommend with the subtle sedan styling going easy on the extreme kits, as they will look tacked-on and unnatural for the most part. Go with the overall look of the car and try to accentuate a few areas without making them the prominent features that are most noticed. Cars like the Acura TL were actually designed as a classic performance sedan that is easy on the eyes and not a sore thumb on the road!

Acura Integra parts being among the most popular Acura aftermarket parts sold on the market today are as easy to come by as a greasy burger at a fast food stand. Acura automotive parts can be found at a variety of sources. There is actually no better place however to get your Acura auto parts, especially the OEM Acura parts, than through JDM Acura parts (Japanese Domestic Market). The price is always right, and the service and fit is untouched. Your only obstacle depending on where you live will be the shipping; so check their policies and rates before ordering. Acura factory parts (Acura OEM parts), can also be purchased at your local dealer.

You will often have to wait a week or so for an order to come in that you make through the dealer, as they often have to get it send either from another dealer, or the manufacturer themselves. This will probably be your quickest route of receiving parts if you are in desperate need of a part to get your Acura back up and running.

Acura TL parts generally are of the interior nature, with a few exterior goodies. There is not a huge aftermarket following for Acura performance parts for the TL, but for Acura OEM parts you would easily be able to find just about anything you could want online in just a few clicks on a search engine. Acura TSX parts tell a slightly different story. You can purchase quite a number of performance items for the interior, exterior, as well as the engine. There is not a huge amount of big horsepower upgrades for the TSX; but if you are looking for a moderate improvement, then you should be very satisfied with what you will find.

Not to leave out the also popular Acura MDX parts, this exemplifies the best of both worlds for any customer looking for either upgrades or general Acura car parts. The MDX being a rather all-purpose vehicle in itself of course needs to lend itself to its customer base with the same approach. You will most likely find companies that will either specialize in MDX’s accessory upgrades, or general purpose parts, or performance oriented upgrades for the engine; but this would be my recommendation to you for any Acura parts that you are in the market for.

When you are searching for Acura parts, always make sure to decide if you are looking for a general replacement, used Acura parts, or performance oriented upgrades; as you will want to search appropriately for which ever you need. Upgrade parts are quite a bit more expensive than OEM at times, and other times arte quite a bit cheaper. But going along with that, you will sometimes be better off going with a quality cheaper priced upgrade than the OEM; but other times the upgrade may be of an inferior quality and the OEM would be the better choice.

Unfortunately there are only a handful of professionals that know the Acura enough to be able to tell you the best way to go, so your best bet is always to stick with Acura OEM parts unless you are confident otherwise. Do not believe everything that you read on the Internet, nor everything that you hear from a dealer; often times it pays to do your own research and decision making in these situations!

Since its first debut in 2001, the RSX has had a rather amazing amount of success. Being named car and drivers “10 best” as just one of many awards received; the Acura RSX is a polished example of Japanese engineering at its very best. The 2003 Acura RSX of course was the year that really kicked off its popularity as its name began to take hold on the market as an all around great vehicle. I can still remember the popular Acura RSX wallpaper that was popular for office computer screens that year. If memory serves me it was a 2003 Acura RSX Redondo Red Pearl, with a desert faded background.

I think much of the RSX’s popularity stems from the fact that it is an affordable sports car that almost anyone can attain. Of course the Acura RSX Type R being among the more elite and expensive, is still however rather affordable if you looks at the grand scheme of the vehicle and the options that are available to you. But it is the Acura RSX Type S that truly adds an exhilarating edge to the base RSX with an interior layout and boost in the numbers that seem to matter most to RSX drivers; horsepower, horsepower, and more horsepower!

Prior to the 2005 RSX model, the need for Acura RSX body kits, a smooth Acura RSX spoiler (aftermarket), a few Acura RSX performance parts, and of course better headlight projectors will be very much needed to keep up with the cool looks of the 2005+ models. An Acura RSX with projectors beaming in blue just really set off the older RSX models and give them an aura of newness to the night air on cruise nights. These needed Acura RSX parts will not be hard to find at the dealer and various aftermarket speed shops around your town. A few Acura RSX accessories added to the interior may not be such a bad addition to consider as well.

But if you are looking for a grand sports car right out of the box with almost nothing left for you to do to make it any cooler than it already is, a 2006 Acura RSX is probably just the car for your needs. Coupled with a well-tuned suspension, the small liter engine is a rather welcome surprise as you pull out onto the road with relative ease. Each gear you hit from the well engineered transmission will have you sailing the streets in no time without missing a single beat per shift. With an overall aggressive style, stance, class, and style; the RSX really stands out in the crowd of other performance tuned street racers being pushed off the assembly line. To really stand out in the crowd however, the 2006 Acura RSX Type-S will be your ultimate best bet.

The 2007 Acura RSX is set to hit the showroom floors here in a few months; and from what I hear is basically a lot the same as the 2006 model. However I have heard a reviewer recently that described driving the new 2007 Acura RSX as a taste of the Chevrolet Camaro mixed with the Mini Cooper, and finished off with a spot of Volkswagen beetle. With this type of description, you can guarantee that I will be one of the first people in line at the 2007 RSX’s unveiling to see what this tri-vehicle actually feels from the grip of mine own two leather glove dawned hands!

Acura cars have not been around for very long, but within those few years they have created a name and customer base that can best be described as loyal, happy, and enjoys smelling the roses from the cockpit of their Acura, instead of the gardens of their homestead. Two years after its initial introduction, the 1991 Acura NSX (all-aluminum body) super car took on the markets of Ferrari and Porsche; proving itself a rather worthy competitor to the surprise of most magazines and car critics. The NSX Acura is a super car indeed built within the realm of economy and reliability, but within the aspirations of drivability and superiority over most other cars within its class of vehicle.

Looking back upon the 2 fast 2 furious Acura NSX, we could see the beginnings of the tuner craze that soon followed. The NSX was of course always popular with the tuner crowd but the movie helped it along all the more. It was not long after that it was next to impossible to find a decent used Acura NSX for sale, with the clamoring of tuners snatching them up as project cars. Even today the classic 2 fast 2 furious has a mimicked version in just about every town across America.

At Acura NSX Seattle, you can find just about any year Acura NSX for sale that you could ever want. Checking these out on EBay are a great place to start, to begin to narrow down your choices once that Acura NSX fever has struck. Speaking of EBay, you will also find a plentitude of 95 Acura NSX aftermarket products, as well as most other years of course, like the Acura 2004 NSX and 2005 Acura NSX. The Acura NSX stereo and Acura NSX stock mats are the worst designed parts on the whole vehicle in this author’s opinion; which thankfully are easily rendered with a few pieces of aftermarket EBay gold exchanged in their place.

The next generation Acura NSX set to hit the showrooms in over a year is the 2008 Acura NSX. This next Acura NSX has a lot to prove to reach the expectations of its current fan base, but Acura appears to have everything under control. And by under control, I am referring to the new all-wheel-drive 500 horsepower V10 that is currently the buzz over at Acura. With hints of a design that simulate that of the Lamborghini, Aston Martin, and Dodge Viper all rolled into one!

The Acura NSX appears to be staged to continue its climb into super car status which will unfortunately put the dreams of ever owning one by your average Joe further and further down the line. However, the one good point is as the years pass by the older NSX’s will continue to depreciate and become viable purchase choices for us average hard working folk. But for you who can easily see the likes of the brand new 2008 Acura NSX in your driveway I say “Touché” to you. Just don’t forget to treat them gently, for when we can finally get our turn behind the wheel, we want them to be as fresh as possible.

But really, who am I kidding? I doubt the word “gently” has ever been uttered out of the mouth of a true enthusiast that has ever graced the steering wheel of an Acura NSX!

Acura cars have not been around for very long, but in their short time of existence they have created a name and customer base that can best be described as loyal. Following the successful ventures of Honda, Acura was developed as a line of luxury Japanese vehicles; which was a first for a Japanese car manufacturer. Acura had to overcome the common American and Canadian beliefs that Japanese vehicles are designed more for economy than luxury. The Acura Legend kicked off this movement in the mid eighties, and changed the Japanese car market forever with its refined classic styling, and impressive performance and handling.

With the introduction of the 1989 Acura NSX (all-aluminum body) super car, Japan took on the markets of Ferrari and Porsche head on with this 276 horsepower sport coupe and emerged in the dust to tell about it. Today, even the mention of the NSX brings tingles down the spines of tuners far and wide. But for many of us average Jane’s and Joe’s; settling for the less expensive Acura Integra will have to do as a close second best.

Complete with a sporty exterior and lively interior the Acura Integra finds balance between economy and performance, with a nice heaping scoop of reliability to top it off. Today however the Integra has been replaced with the all new Acura RSX (with the great looking spoiler); upscale sophistication, tuned suspension, and swooped engine makes this daily driver a pure pleasure to be behind the wheel of. An even more practical version is the Acura TSX, which incorporates European style, performance, and engineering with the roominess of a sedan.
Climbing a few notches above the TSX, one can step into an Acura RL which is Acura’s largest sedan available today. Luxury is the best way to describe driving this elite class vehicle, but don’t be fooled; this upscale driver also features an impressive sport package for handling and performance. “Comfort, convenience, and sportiness” as reported through Consumer Reports describes the Acura TL about as simply and accurately as you can get. Featuring an air pressure monitoring system, engine control module, and 6 speed manual transmission (all standard equipment), the TL is “fully loaded” even at its base price; and having been around awhile, this classic cruiser needs to prove itself to nobody.

Acura is especially popular with the tuner/performance enthusiast crowds in America; but with its huge aftermarket following, who could really blame them. Acura parts in general are not only easy to come by, but the performance upgraded Acura auto parts are even easier to come by. So building up a great tuner machine out of an Acura will be an easy feat, as well as rather enjoyable. But Acura has more than just super cars, sport coupes, and sedans; they also have an impressive line of SUV’s; so let’s step off the beaten path and look over two of them.

The Acura MDX forefronts the luxury end of things, while the Acura RDX is considered as more of a tuned crossover compact. The MDX is a mid-duty family hauler designed for those occasional excursions into the wild. With enough power and torque to get you where you need to go, your Acura MDX will not leave you stranded unless you wander into the “extreme” off-road. The Acura RDX, with its turbo-tuned engineering is considered Acura’s answer to the popular BMW X5. Built to cruise the open highways, yet topple a mountain side or two if pushed to the task, the RDX is quite at home in both the city and country. Both make a great choice, as size and functionality will probably be your main deciding factor.
